I know just what you’re thinking. “Where can I view virtual reality fireworks this year? Think about how easy it is! Just slip on a headset of your choice, load your favorite fireworks experience, press “start” and you don’t even need to leave your home!
But don’t do it that way!
Instead, take the headsets off. Turn off the computer. And head outside to experience fireworks as they are meant to be seen, with your non-virtual reality eyes with all their peripheral vision in a crowd of people who are all watching them, sadly through the screen of their cell phones.
But you will be different.
This year you’ll turn your cell phone off too! Really, you can do it. It will be okay! Dare to be different and see the world not through a screen. Do you know Americans spend a average of ten hours a day looking at a screen? So this year your virtual reality fireworks will be non-virtual reality fireworks, where you experience actual reality in all it’s splendor.
Then tomorrow, you can put the VR headsets back on.
Have a safe and happy Fourth of July!
